Chris Tait of Dauphin found part of a crocodile fossil in the Dauphin area from the Cretaceous period (100 million years ago). The fossil consists of some ribs, leg bones and back bones, as well as a complete flipper. There is no head. This is one of only two of this kind found in Canada.
 

Canada’s National Deaf Hockey Team, along with Kim Wasylyshen-Rizzi and Walter Gretzky, was in Dauphin, the week of April 6th to April 10th!

The City of Dauphin, on September 18th, displayed a garbage truck with an automated arm system that they're looking at installing on an already ordered truck. Actual truck on order is a bit smaller than the one shown to Dauphinites.
