You ask why Odell could be seen as pretty cheap right now? His comments before the game saying last time his team met the Bombers would have been different if the Esks were healthy, but after Saturday's defeat against the Bombers, there are no excuses as the Esks headed into the game a much healthier team and still lost.

If you want to talk about a premiere defence, Winnipeg's defence on Saturday night was just about as premiere as it gets.

After 30 minutes, the Bombers held a good Esks offence completely off the scoreboard as they led 8-0.

In the second half, the Esks found their stride scoring 19 points, but it wasn't enough as the Bombers eight-point second quarter proved to be the difference in the game.

Matt Nichols ended up throwing for 238 yards in the game, while Andrew Harris picked up over 100 yards combined on the ground and through the air.

Darvin Adams had a relatively quiet game after last week, but he did pull down one of the nicer catches of the year on a perfect pass from Matt Nichols for a touchdown late in the game.

With the win, the Bombers are now 10-3 and have a chance to go to 11-3 as they take on the Tiger-Cats next week.

That game is set for Friday at Investors Group Field with a 7:30 kickoff.
