The Royal Canadian Legion in Dauphin will be hosting its annual Robbie Burns evening beginning at 7 pm.
According to bass drummer of the Dauphin Legion Pipe Band Kate Storey, the celebration has been occurring in Dauphin for quite sometime.
"Robbie Burns is a traditional Scottish celebration right at the end of January -- right in that coldest time of the year -- and it's been happening in Dauphin for over 100 years."
A light lunch will be served including the customary haggis.
