Dauphin, Canada
The installation of civic address signs in the RM of Dauphin is nearly complete.

In a notice sent to ratepayers, council is suggesting that people write their address number down and place it by their home phone, so that people can easily access it when they need to make a 911 call.

If people don't have signs installed on the properties yet, Reeve Dennis Forbes says there will be another round of installations taking place during the summer to install any signs that may have been missed or incorrectly ordered, so he's asking people to remain patient.

Forbes also says emergency services departments are being trained in how the numbering system works.
