On January 11, RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Duck Bay, approximately 75 kilometres north of Winnipegosis.

During the search, officers seized a firearm related to an incident that took place in December involving a vehicle chase ending in a gun being fired, with no one injured.

William Pelletier, 25, is charged with Discharging Firearm while Being Reckless, Pointing a Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Careless Use of a Firearm.

The investigation is ongoing.
