The Dauphin Clippers are off and running with their Prairie West High School Baseball season.
They scored six runs in the first inning and that was all they needed in a 12-5 win against Ste. Rose/McCreary.
Logan Storey and Jake Strang went a combined 4-7 at the plate for Dauphin with two singles each.
Nelson Lepla had a double while Brayden Kohlman doubled and singled for Ste. Rose/McCreary.
Carter Williamson earned the win for Dauphin.
The Clippers play a doubleheader on Sunday against Rivers and Hamiota.
