Bob Seger will be releasing Ride Out, his first new album in eight years -- and possibly his final studio album ever -- on Oct. 14. The set follows 2006's platinum-certified Face The Promise, which broke an 11-year drought, though Seger has also released new music on the interim compilations Early Seger Vol. 1 in 2009 and Ultimate Hits: Rock and Roll Never Forgets in 2011. More Zeppelin reissues on the way!

Two months after releasing lavish reissues of their first three albums, Led Zeppelin revealed reissues of Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy are coming this fall. Led Zeppelin Reissues Get A Whole Lotta Love at Private Listening Session The reissue of the group's untitled fourth album -- everyone calls it Led Zeppelin IV -- will include alternate versions of every track on that monster-selling (300 million sold worldwide) album from 1971. The Houses of the Holy reissue includes alternate versions of nearly every track on that 1973 album, except "D'yer Mak'er." Jimmy Page personally oversaw the remastering of each album. The reissues come as single album editions, deluxe editions and as a super deluxe box set, which includes CDs, LPs, a digital download and an 80-page book with previously unseen photos from the group's heyday.
