The weather has been beautiful, the course is in great shape and now, the Gilbert Plains Country Club is preparing to host Men's Night beginning early next month.

Tuesday's 18-hole format will begin on June 2 while Thursday's nine-hole format takes centre stage on June 4. You can now register at the pro shop or you can call Aspen Insurance in Dauphin.

"It's a really exciting time for us. Of course, the nights will be a little bit different with everything going on right now," said McCallum. "Manitoba has done a great job of flattening the curve. We're very excited that we can make this happen."

The registration fee for both evenings will be $50 per golfer and you can sign up with a partner. If you're a single-player and you want to play, call 548-3030 and they'll look to pair you with someone. The registration fee will also include two meals.

When schedules are released, your team's starting hole will be on it. You are being asked to head directly to your starting hole instead of gathering near the pro shop. Scott does say; however, the patio will be open for after your round with some precautions in place.

"We encourage everyone to play, it's a great way to network with people and get to know new people," said McCallum.
