RCMP investigate fatal pedestrian collision in Northern Manitoba

Police are investigating after a man was killed walking along a road in South Indian Lake on Saturday.
 
The man was walking along the road when he slipped on ice and fell into the roadway, where he was struck by a vehicle.
 
The 64 year old driver reported the accident to police. Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the collision. 
 
There was poor visibility on October 14th and road conditions were slippery after snowfall in the area.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
