2 schools in Dauphin received big donations today

Kids at Mackenzie Middle School have gotten a great boost to their breakfast program, and the Barker School Playground fundraising efforts got a boost as well.

Today, over $1600 of donations for the Drive Away Hunger Campaign held last week was raised Mackenzie Breakfast program. The breakfast program will be expanded to accommodate the grade six’s enrolled at the school.

Furthermore, the Mountain View School Division received a $5000 donation cheque for the Barker School Playground from the Dauphin Co-Op's Fuel Good Day held on Sept 19th. With the money raised, more equipment is planned to be added to the playground.
