Running until Sunday the event features workshops for non-profit organizations, a visual arts exhibition of prairie artists and 17 different performances among other events. Kalynn Spain the Performing Arts Coordinator for Manitoba Arts talks about the showcases taking place this weekend.

“There are 5 performances in each of the showcase timeslots. They’re from 7:30-9:30. So they are five 15 minute performances by each of our showcasing artists. And the dinner theatre on the Friday they can purchase, actually, a table of 6. We can reserve a table for them if they would like to bring some friends and they can have dinner enjoy the show and then they can stay and enjoy the shows for showcase number 1. They actually get quite a really good deal if they would go for the dinner and the show. It’s only 45 dollars a ticket and that includes all of the performances as well as a buffet dinner.”

Regular admission is $15 for each show. Tickets for Friday’s Dinner and a Show are $45 and includes a theatre show, 2 for Tea by James and Jamesy, and the Showcase #1 performances.
