Police Warn of Halloween-Themed Fentanyl Blotter Papers

Police in Winnipeg have issued a public warning after finding suspected fentanyl with a Halloween theme.

Const. Rob Carver says officers seized six blotters -- small pieces of paper with the drug dried into them -- while executing a search warrant late last week.

Each blotter has an image of a witch riding a broom and Carver says police are worried children may accidentally touch or taste them this Halloween.

Carver says anyone who finds a suspected blotter shouldn't touch it, and should call 9-1-1.
