Changes to Dauphin Regional Health Centre

Phase one Dauphin Hospital Redevelopment Project is ready to take effect on Monday.

Effective Monday morning the front entrance ramp will be closed to all traffic, and both the main front entrance and back entrance will be closed at 8 a.m.

Curt Gullet, Director for the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, explains the changes taking place.

"So most importantly, November the 6th at 8am, is where the front entrance of the existing hospital is closed to public. That will be diverted to EMS enterance only. Then we will begin access off of Jackson Street via the new temporary enterance to the Dauphin Regional Health Centre"

The temporary entrance is located off of Jackson Street and parking areas have been enhanced at the back of the hospital to accommodate the public.
