Carjacking Suspect Still Wanted By RCMP

A carjacking occurred on Spruce Bay in Portage la Prairie and RCMP are investigating.
 
A male approached an idling van that was parked and waiting for a resident. 
 
He then entered the van, produced a firearm, struck the male driver and took the van.

Police are still looking for a red Dodge Caravan, with Manitoba licence plate HUT 784.
 
The suspect is described as an Indigenous male with a slim build, approximately 5'10" tall.
 
He was wearing a mask or bandana around his face, a black jacket with fur around the hood and blue jeans.

Police are advising the public to ensure their vehicle doors are locked when they are stopped.
