Roads covered in snow today

You’ll have to brush off your car this afternoon if you leave it parked for too long.

The snowfall warning issued yesterday by the Environment Canada is still in effect.

The roads are slippery around Dauphin. But on the highways, Manitoba 511 shows the highways all over the Parkland are covered with snow. In Riding Mountain National Park Parks Canada says caution is advised when traveling through the park due to poor driving conditions. Highway 10 has blowing snow, snow packed and icy section along with drifting snow. The park is still open.

Snowfall is expected to drop 10 to 20 cm by the end of the day.
Be prepared to adjust your driving to changing road conditions.

Remember to turn your lights on when driving in snowy conditions so people can see you coming or going.
