Vehicle Fire in Dauphin

Whitmore Avenue was closed last night while emergency personnel attended to a vehicle fire behind Manitoba Hydro in Dauphin.
 
At 6:30, there was an explosion, but after several hours, Whitmore Avenue reopened just before midnight, and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
 
CKDM has reached out to the Fire Department for more details.
