The Emma Jensen rink lost a much closer affair, dropping a 7-5 decision to Meghan Walter.
Hanne and her rink will begin play at 9 o'clock in the morning against West Kildonans Alex Friesen.
Emma's rink also starts at 9 in the morning. They take on MacKenzie Zacharias out of Altona

As for the Men's side of things, Tyson Beyak (Bae-ak) from Winnipegosis dropped his opener 6-4 in an extra end against Ryan Wiebe.
His team will be back on the pebble At noon to take on the Brett Walter rink.
