Regimental Ball Needs Support, So That It May Support
Parkland RCMP is planning to hold a Regimental Ball, but they need more interest from the public.
Board member Buffy Maxwell says the event will benefit the Parkland area.
"The money that will raise we're going to put into high school bursaries, so a bursary will go to Dauphin, Ochre River, Gilbert Plains, and Grandview. And then, if we have any more money we will donate it towards the Food for Thought program."
But Maxwell says they may have to cancel if people don't start buying tickets.
The Parkland RCMP Regimental Ball is scheduled for May 23. The deadline to buy tickets is tomorrow.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from Lee Fortin, Keri Vaters, or the Dauphin RCMP detachment.
