Dauphin was able to hang with Neepawa for twenty minutes, the Kings even held a lead mid way through the game. But, the Natives turned it on in the second half of the second period, and Neepawa wouldn't look back, winning 6-4.

Kings forward Keaton Leininger had two goals in the loss.

The Swan Valley Stampeders edged the Wayway Wolverines 4-3 on Friday night as well, meaning Sunday's match up between the Natives and the Stampeders will decide who takes the 8th and final playoff spot.

The Dauphin Kings are back in action tonight against the Winnipeg Blues in their season finale.
