Boxes Of Love About 3/4 Of The Way There

A charity that sends school and living supplies to children growing up in orphanages and youth-at-risk in Ukraine is still in need of running shoes and monetary donations.

Nicole Yunker with Boxes of Love says they've got school and art supplies, as well as backpacks, covered for students in the Internat, and she says they're about three quarters of the way to their goal.

"We still are accepting monetary donations to assist with the shipping cost to send to Ukraine, and as well we definitely need more running shoes."

Dauphin's Boxes of Love held its Mall Day this past Saturday at the Dauphin Marketplace Mall.

Yunker says people can donate any time. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Dauphin Friendship Centre. Shoes can be dropped off at Parkland Crossing.
