SLIPKNOT'S COREY TAYLOR - SEPARATED

 

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is going public with his personal life as a way to protect it. Taylor writes on Instagram he's been separated from his wife for 10 months and he started dating someone else a few months ago. He married Stephanie Luby in 2009. Taylor says he wants to set the record straight because people have been gossiping on his son's Instagram. Taylor writes, ``My friends have known. Now you know. I'll ask once: DROP IT.''

JANA KRAMER - RENEWS VOWS

 

Jana Kramer has renewed her wedding vows with the husband with whom she was estranged in 2016. Kramer posted Instagram photos with husband Mike Caussin from their vow renewal ceremony on a beach December 2nd. They were married in 2015 and separated a little over a year later. They got back together in the past year.

Kramer writes that Caussin broke her heart and made her question everything, but he made her strong, taught her patience and made her believe in herself and the power of forgiveness. She says, ``Here's to always believing in love and fighting for it.''

RABBI - LORDE - ACCUSATIONS

 

A celebrity rabbi is accusing Lorde (LORD) of being a hypocrite for calling off her show in Israel. Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (SHMOO'-lee boh-TAY'-ahk) took out a full-page ad in The Washington Post on Sunday that includes a headline, ``21 Is Young To Become A Bigot.'' Lorde was supposed to perform in Tel Aviv in June but cancelled last week, saying she ``didn't make the right call on this one.'' The ad says Lorde ``joined a global anti-Semitic boycott of Israel but will perform in Russia, despite Putin's support for Assad's genocide in Syria.'' Lorde has not responded to the ad.

D-J Khaled is ready to help you with that New Year's resolution to lose weight. He's become a social media ambassador for Weight Watchers. D-J Khaled will chronicle his journey as a Weight Watchers member on Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. He's lost 20 pounds so far. D-J Khaled says his son is his life and he needed to shift his lifestyle to be healthy for him. Oprah Winfrey still is a strategic adviser and board member for Weight Watchers.

BOWIE BOOK CLUB

 

David Bowie's son says his father was ``a beast of a reader,'' so he's launching a book club of his father's favourite books. Film director Duncan Jones wrote last week on Twitter one of his father's favourites was Peter Ackroyd's ``Hawksmoor,'' then he invited others to read it, too. He set a deadline of February 1st.

Jones says they'll get into ``the heavy stuff'' later. If you want to guess at what might be coming up, Bowie's website published his favourite 100 books in 2013.

JOHNNY MARR OR NOEL GALLAGHER

 

The Gallagher Brothers of Oasis have cited The Smiths as one of their influences. Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr says he gets mistaken for one of them. Marr says in an interview on Noel Gallagher's Facebook page he gets confused for Gallagher all the time. Marr says, ``It's because I look like a guitar player.'' Marr says ``Noel Gallagher'' has ``become the sort of generic term for 'rock musician.''' Marr says he either says, yes, he is Gallagher, or he says no and gets the question, ``Well, who are you, then?''
