Western Canada Cup: Day 5

The second one game day of the Western Canada Cup is on the menu at Credit Union Place in Dauphin tonight. This one features a key battle in playoff positioning for one team. It’s the final round robin game for the Yorkton Terriers, and if they lose they’ll be headed home thanks to the tiebreaker system at the Western Canada Cup. They’ll battle the Coquitlam Express.

A win by the Express would mean they and the Dauphin Kings would clinch a spot in the Western Canada Cup Championship Game with just the home team left to be decided on Thursday.

A win by the Terriers means Winnipeg and Spruce Grove would play for the final playoff spot tomorrow afternoon at Credit Union Place. Still lots to be decided!
