Kings set to take on Neepawa

The Dauphin Kings (3-1)in the preseason, will hit the ice once again this evening to take on the Neepawa Natives at Credit Union Place, with puck drop set for 7:30 p.m.

The Kings are coming off a home and home against the SJHL's Yorkton Terriers in which they lost 3-2 on Friday and won 6-5 on Saturday.

"Those games did exactly what we needed them to," said Head Coach and GM of the Kings, Marc Berry. "We were able to evaluate some players and make some decision on guys. Over these next few games, we will make more decisions."

The Kings now have less than 30 players on their roster and are just over a week away from beginning their regular season (September 22).

"The players are still fighting for jobs here," said Berry. "There's an expectation for our competition level, how hard we want to compete, and obviously pride taken in being a Dauphin King. When you start getting down in numbers it doesn't get any easier, so we're expecting guys to really step up here."

Tonight's ticket prices are as followed:

Adult & Students - $5.00

Kids 12 & Under - Free
