The Kings come into the game with a 3-3 record in the preseason, which includes being on the wrong side of the scoreboard in the last two games when they lost to Neepawa on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
"Our game plan is to have a more consistent effort all around," said Berry. "We've shown signs of being really good, and then signs of our immaturity so far. We have to be more consistent over 60 minutes."
As mentioned above, the Kings will match up with the Oil Capitals four times in the next eight days, wrapping up with the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Kings home opener next Saturday.
"I don't think any game is another day at the office, you need to go in with a plan," said Berry. "We're not looking ahead to all four games, we just want these two this weekend. A lot of things change before the regular season. These are our last two preseason games, we're just focused on teaching, learning and cleaning up some habits."
Berry notes that lineup changes are on the way for Friday's game.
The Kings have now trimmed down to three goaltenders. Brady Weiss, Parker Waseylenko, and Albert Adamsen.
Puck drop for tonight's game is set for 7:30 at Credit Union Place. Adults and Students are $5.00 and 12 & Under is free.
