"It's going to be a great event," said Murray. "A lot of planning went into it that's for sure. I owe a lot to the Dauphin Kings. I'm proud of where the organization is, and where it used to be. It's just going to be great to get back, mingle with people you haven't seen in a long time, and just have fun."
Murray spent 13 seasons with the Kings between 2003 and 2015. During his time with the Kings, they won one Manitoba Junior Hockey League Championship, and were finalists in three others.
"It's going to be great for the fans for them to see some of the players they knew and used to watch," said Murray. "Everyone will have a lot of fun, then obviously cheer on the Dauphin Kings later that evening. It's a special event, and the Kings are a real rich and traditional hockey program. It's just great to be a part of it."
Marlin will join Team Parkland Source for Sports, and they drop the puck against Team Pernarowski Accounting at 2:00 p.m. on the 23.
