Not long later, Riese Gaber scored his third goal of the season to tie it at one.
OCN regained their one-goal lead to take a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes.
Riese Gaber scored his fourth goal of the season to tie the game at two early in the second, but for the remainder of the period, it was all Blizzard as they scored two goals in a row to take a 4-2 lead after 40.
In the third period, OCN opened up the scoring to take a 5-2 lead, before Wilson Northey brought the Kings back within two with a goal of his own.
That's as close as the Kings would come, however, as the Blizzard would tack on two more goals for a 7-3 win, and their third in a row.
Dauphin outshot the Blizzard, 40-38.
The Kings once again hit the road on Friday to begin a two-game weekend road trip as they take on Steinbach and Winkler on Friday and Saturday respectively.
