RANGERS PLAYER REVEAL: Warren Jubenville

Gilbert Plains Warren Jubenville is getting ready for his second season as a Midget AAA Parkland Ranger.

"It's a huge thing for me," said Jubenville. "My cousin did it when he was my age, so it's a big thing to follow in his footsteps."

Warren's cousin, Tyler played for the Rangers from 2013-15, before moving to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and now he finds himself playing in the USHL for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.

Warren's first chance to impress as he continues his development is tonight when the team takes on the Wheat Kings.

"I think we're going to start off the season with a bang," said Jubenville. "If we just work hard, we can outdo those Brandon guys any day."

Last season in 29 games for the Rangers, Jubenville recorded six points (2 G, 4A) while racking up 12 penalty minutes.

"The most exciting part about this year is the thought that this could be my next step of development with the MJHL," said Jubenville. "As well as other more developed leagues to play at the next level in the future."

Puck drop tonight is set for 7:30 at Credit Union Place.
