RANGERS PLAYER REVEAL: Matthew Boguski

Dauphin's Matthew Boguski is going into his first year of Midget eligibility, and he has been rewarded for his hard work as he made the Parkland Rangers as a "Special AP"

"It feels pretty good," said Boguski. "I've worked hard the past couple seasons to get up to this point. It feels good to be a part of the team, and have the chance to help the team any way I can."

Heading into the home opener tonight against Brandon, Boguski is excited, but also knows it will be a tough game.

"We need to compete every shift," said Boguski. "We need to throw our bodies around and get the puck to the net. Brandon is a skilled team, they've been playing together for a few years now, so we just need to be physical and get pucks to the net."

Being a "Special AP", Boguski knows he has some work to do if he wants to make the team full-time.

"I just have to work my hardest every shift, and give my all," said Boguski. "Coaches love when you work hard in games and practices, so that's what I'll do and hopefully the coaches see that, and we'll go from there."

Boguski spent the last two seasons with the Bantam AAA Parkland team in which he played 66 games and put up 22 points.
