It took the Pistons just 32 seconds to kick off the scoring when Tyson McConnell potted one past Matt Kustra as the Pistons took a 1-0 lead.
Just under six minutes later, Riese Gaber scored his fifth goal of the season with the assists going to Jaymes Knee and Riley Shamray on the powerplay.
It was a great start, and a great finish as the Pistons regained their lead with just 1:08 left in the first period as they took a 2-1 lead.
The Pistons extended their lead to 3-1, 1:33 into the second off the stick of Braden Purtill.
After 40, the Pistons led 3-1.
In the third, it was all Pistons, as they scored three more goals en route to a 6-1 win.
The Pistons heavily outshot the Kings, 44-26. The Kings went 5-5 on the penalty kill, but just 1-5 on the powerplay.
The Kings hit the ice once again on Saturday evening, as they take on the Winkler Flyers in Winkler, before returning back to Credit Union Place on Wednesday evening.
