Brezden notches personal best!

Dauphin's Breken Brezden headed to Regina this past weekend to take part in the Saskatchewan Open Figure Skating Championships.

Although Breken did not place high in the standings, she did notch her personal best in her long skate.

"She was really happy about that," said Brian Brezden, Breken's father. "She was skating against girls who are 14 and 15 and from all over Western Canada."

The next skate for Breken will be in Barrie, Ontario during the third week of October. Then Breken will prepare for the Manitoba Sectionals in Virden during the first weekend in November, in which she won in Morden last November.
