Rangers fall, 6-2 against Selects

A four-goal deficit after 20 minutes proved to be too much as the Parkland Rangers fell to the Eastman Selects, 6-2 on Saturday night at Credit Union Place.

Brayden Delvenne got the Rangers on the board early in the second to cut the deficit to 4-1, but the Selects fired back with two goals of their own to make it a 6-1 lead.

In the third, Jaeger Lapointe scored 0:56 in, as the Rangers deficit was trimmed to 6-2, but that's where the game ended.

The Rangers are back on the ice on Sunday afternoon as they welcome the Southwest Cougars at 2:00.
