Face-Off Festival coming to McCreary and Russell

In an effort to get kids from four to six years of age more included in the sport of hockey, the Parkland Region will be running Face-Off Festivals this season that will take place in McCreary and Russell sponsored by Hockey Manitoba.

McCreary Festival

The McCreary Festival will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the McCreary Centennial Arena.

On top of getting the chance to get on the ice, a canteen will be on-site, there will be a 50/50 draw, a costume parade, treat bags and a Halloween movie to cap off the day.

Russell Festival

The Russell Festival will take place on November 4 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Russell Regional Multiplex and the registration deadline is also October 20.

Included in this day are Rainbow Auction, Kids activities, and face painting.
