Bad News Continues for the Bombers

The news continued getting worse for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers when they hit the practice field yesterday ahead of their game this weekend against the Argonauts.

Just 48-hours after finding out Maurice Legget will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles tendon, it appears that the Bombers will now have to keep trucking along without one of their best receivers, Darvin Adams.

Adams leads the team with 1,120 yards receiving, the fourth-best total in the CFL, and shares the team touchdown lead with Clarence Denmark, with seven.

The Bombers did receive some good news, however, as Weston Dressler will return from a three-game absence because of injury.

The Blue and Gold hit the road to take on the Argonauts on Saturday at 3:00 p.m., and you can hear all the action right here on 730CKDM, as we are a proud member of the Blue Bomber Radio Network.
