The Kings opened the scoring 2:10 into the game as Matt Pitchenese picked up his second goal of the year and it was a dandy as he tucked it past, Blues goalie, Jeremy Link.
It didn't take the Kings long to extend their lead to 2-0 when Matt Bartel worked hard in the corner and Kyle Oleksiuk won the puck out of the scrum, and went short side and roofed it top corner past Link as the Kings led 2-0 after 20.
The Blues came right back in the second period as Dexter Kuczek scored his eighth of the year, but from there, it was all Kings.
Riese Gaber scored his ninth of the season at the 10:57 mark and Grady Hobbs extended the Kings lead to 4-1 when he scored at the 16:25 mark.
No goals were scored in the final 20, but Brennan Kitchen made some big-time saves as the Kings walked away with two points.
Winnipeg outshot Dauphin, 41-38.
The Kings are back on the ice tomorrow against the Winkler Flyers with a 7:30 puck drop at Credit Union Place.
