Swan River's Campbell Impressive For Rangers

Swan River's Rory Campbell went from playing Midget hockey in Swan River against local players to playing against some of the best players in Manitoba as a part of the Parkland Rangers, and he's sure done his part to help the Rangers win hockey games.

"It's going really great so far," said Campbell. "All the boys are playing really well, and our record shows that we've been playing as a team, and to our capabilities."

Campbell has gone 4-1 so far for the Rangers, and sports a 2.56 G.A.A and a .915 save percentage and with his four wins, Campbell is tied for the league lead in wins.

"For me, it's just about getting mentally prepared for games," said Campbell. "It's great having the opportunity to strive for success and having the boys in front of me playing really well, it's a big help."

Rory and the rest of the Rangers hit the road tomorrow to take on the Brandon Wheat Kings.

"Our goal is to keep pushing it, and obviously make playoffs," said Campbell. "I can do my part in helping us achieve that goal by working as hard as I can every day."

Puck drop tomorrow is set for 7:30 in the Wheat City.
