Kings Lose Battle Against Blues, 5-4

The Dauphin Kings looked poised to beat the Winnipeg Blues for the second time in two weeks, but the Blues staged a big comeback to beat the Kings, 5-4 on Saturday night in Winnipeg.

1st Period

In the first 10:06 of the first period, the Kings found themselves up, 3-0 which included a goal from Brad Estrada, his first as a Dauphin King as the Kings led 3-0 after 20.

2nd Period

The Blues completely flipped the switch in the second period, scoring four times as they took a 4-3 lead after 40.

3rd Period

The Blues increased their lead to 5-3 in the third, before Jaymes Knee brought it back within one goal, at 5-4 but that's as close as the Kings would get as they earned no points on their two-game in two-day road trip.
