If the Winnipeg Blue Bombers win tonight, they will host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on November 12 in the West Semifinal.
The Bombers will get a break, as the Stampeders will sit Bo Levi Mitchell to allow him to rest up for the playoffs, and instead, the team will start Canadian, Andrew Buckley who will be the Stamps first Canadian starter since Greg Vavra in 1985.
Now, we get down to the facts and the facts don't favour the Bombers what so ever.
The Bombers are 5-3 on the road this year but are 1-9 in their last 10 visits to Calgary, and they haven't won a game there since 2014. Things will be even tougher for the Bombers as Matt Nichols will not play due to injury, and that's where Dan LeFevour comes in as he makes his first start for the Bombers.
The last time LeFevour started a game was last fall for the Toronto Argonauts in a loss to Ottawa but was pulled.
At the end of the day, the Bombers will be pushing it to earn their first home playoff game since 2011.
