Bombers Clinch Home Playoff Game!

It took longer than expected, but it happened and for the first time since 2011, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will host a playoff game after they beat the Calgary Stampeders on Friday night, 23-5.

The Bombers didn't score in the second half, but they built a 23-0 lead after 30 minutes, and that proved to be well enough.

It was the Bombers defence in the first half who proved to be the difference as they forced four turnovers, (seven in total) including a pick-six by Brandon Alexander.

Dan LeFevour picked up the win in his first start as a Bomber this year, as he threw for 91 yards on 13 completions.

Winnipeg will now wait to see the result between the Eskimos and Roughriders on Saturday to see who they will play in the West Semifinal at IGF.
