Rangers Beat Lightning, Fall to Wild

The Parkland Midget AAA Rangers hit the road for a pair of games this weekend and will head back home with two points.

Rangers Vs Lightning

The Lightning got on the board midway through the first and held a 1-0 lead heading into the intermission.

In the second, the Rangers came out a different team and turned the game completely around, as they scored the final four goals of the game to win, 4-1 over the Lightning.

Carter Cockburn, Garrett Hrechka, Warren Jubenvill and Vincent Hughes scored for the Rangers while Kurtis Luke added two assists in the game.

Rangers Vs Wild

In the final game of their two-game in two-day road trip, the Rangers took on one of the best teams in the league, and despite a great effort, came up just short as the Wild beat the Rangers, 4-2.

Both teams scored one and gave up one goal in first and third periods, but the Wild outscored the Rangers, 2-0 in the second.

Facts

With the one win and one loss over the weekend, the Rangers are now sixth in the league with a 7-6 record.
