Kings Blitzed by OCN, 4-1

Thursday night was game three of the Dauphin Kings five-game homestand, and it didn't go as planned, as the Blizzard beat the Kings, 4-1.

1st Period

Several great chances kept the fans entertained in the first, but no goals were scored as the teams headed into the dressing room tied at zero.

2nd Period

The Blizzard opened the scoring in the second as Anthony Keeper potted his seventh of the year.

Riley Shamray scored his third goal in as many games to tie up the game at one at the 6:50 mark, but it didn't last long, as the Blizzard regained their lead at the 10:57 mark as the Blizzard took a 2-1 lead into the dressing room.

3rd Period

The Blizzard added two more goals in the third to solidify the victory and grabbed two points as they now sit in a tie for first in the league (14-5-2), while the Kings are 4-15-1-1.

Game Facts

The Kings outshot the Blizzard, 34-30.

The Kings are back in action tomorrow as they welcome the Winnipeg Blues with puck drop set for 7:30.
