"The guys are super excited," said Darren Grasby, President and General Manager of the Comets. "They've been practicing hard for a month, and with no exhibition games this year, everyone's ready for the puck to drop on Saturday night."
This year's roster includes players from Grandview but also includes players from Roblin, the Dauphin area and more.
"I have to give credit to a lot of these players," said Grasby. "The NCHL is a working man's hockey league. No one gets paid, they play for the love of the game. I'm also looking forward to seeing Ryan Dreger get back his scoring title he won a couple of years ago."
Puck drop tomorrow night is set for 8:00.
"Come out and see some of the renovations the GACC has made," said Grasby. "We have one of the best cooks in Grandview, and it's also a chance for people in the area to come out, enjoy a good evening and of course cheer on the Comets.
