Kings Fall 8-2 to Natives

The losing streak for the Dauphin Kings has reached 11 after they fell, 8-2 on Saturday night against the Neepawa Natives.

1st Period

The Kings appeared to take the lead just over two minutes in, but the puck stayed out and then Brad Marshall opened the scoring at the 6:26 mark and that’s where the period ended as Neepawa led, 1-0.

2nd Period

The second period was all Neepawa as they scored four goals to take a 5-0 lead, before the Kings tacked on one late when Wilson Northey tucked in the rebound getting it past Evan Robert.

After 40, Neepawa led, 5-1.

3rd Periods 

In the third, Neepawa increased their lead to 8-1, then Brendan Arnold scored his first goal since October 8 as the Natives skated away with a 8-2 win.

Game Facts

Neepawa outshot Dauphin, 42-36.
