The Kings appeared to take the lead just over two minutes in, but the puck stayed out and then Brad Marshall opened the scoring at the 6:26 mark and that’s where the period ended as Neepawa led, 1-0.
The second period was all Neepawa as they scored four goals to take a 5-0 lead, before the Kings tacked on one late when Wilson Northey tucked in the rebound getting it past Evan Robert.
After 40, Neepawa led, 5-1.
In the third, Neepawa increased their lead to 8-1, then Brendan Arnold scored his first goal since October 8 as the Natives skated away with a 8-2 win.
Neepawa outshot Dauphin, 42-36.
