Kings Forward Takes MJHL Player Of The Week

With the Kings starting to find their groove over the past week and scoring 18 goals in the process, it’s no surprise that one of their members has taken Player of the Week honours from the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

In the 18 goals the Kings scored over the last week Jesse Bernard was in on almost half of them. He had 1 goal and 6 assists for 7 points.

Since coming to the Kings in a trade with the Nipawin Hawks in the summer, Bernard has been so solid. The Killarney Manitoba product is currently tied for the team lead in points with 12 (4G, 8A).
