The Dauphin Kings will look for their 40th win of the season tonight when they visit the Neepawa Natives. Since starting the season at 9-11-1 the Kings have gone 30-6-1 to get where they're at. Dauphin's Russell Murray went 2-0 yesterday at the Masters Men's Provincial Curling Championship in Winnipeg. He'll continue the round robin with two games today, both against Curlers from Fort Rouge. First it's Pat Carson followed by Ron Westcott later today.
The Vancouver Canucks look to make it two straight wins when they host the Minnesota Wild in N-H-L action tonight. The Canucks are coming off a 1-0 win over St. Louis on Wednesday that ended a seven-game losing streak. Three other games on tap, Buffalo entertains San Jose, Phoenix is in Colorado and there's a good matchup of top Western Conference teams as St. Louis skates in Anaheim. The Ducks lead the Pacific Division with 87 points while the Blues are tied with Chicago for the lead in the Central with 84. In other games, Buffalo hosts San Jose and Phoenix is in Colorado.Anaheim welcomes St.Louis.
