Tuesday Sports Notes

The Dauphin Kings and Oil Capitals hook up for game two of the Sher-Wood Division Final tonight in Virden. Dauphin took game one at home on Sunday. You can hear this evening's contest on CKDM. It gets going at 7:10 with the Pre Game Show, 7:30 is the start time. Tickets for game three of the series on Thursday in Dauphin are on sale today until 5pm at the Credit Union Place South Ticket Office. The Addison Division Final also continues tonight in Winnipeg as the Blues try for a 2-0 series against the Steinbach Pistons.

Team Manitoba and Local Curler Peter Prokopowich have two round robin games today at the National Seniors Curling Championship in Yellowknife. The early draw has them up against Team Ontario, then last tonight Manitoba meets Team Alberta.

The Montreal Canadiens are brimming with confidence entering tonight's home game against Buffalo. The Habs ended Boston's 12-game winning streak last night. Toronto will try to end a five-game losing skid this evening when they host St. Louis. Elsewhere Ottawa is at Florida and Edmonton welcomes San Jose.

The Grey Cup is headed to Winnipeg next year. A CFL source has confirmed Commissioner Mark Cohon will make it official during a trip to the city on Wednesday, awarding the 103rd league championship game to Winnipeg. It’ll mark the fourth time the Grey Cup has been played in Manitoba, the first since 2006. Winnipeg also hosted it in 1991 and ’98. The provincial capital was originally seen as a potential host for 2014. However delays in building Investors Group Field pushed that plan back, and Vancouver stepped in to host this year.

Tiger Woods says he's not sure whether his ailing back will allow him to play in the Masters in two weeks. The Masters is the only major tournament the 38-year-old Woods has never missed. Four of his 14 major championships have come at Augusta National. He last won the green jacket in 2005.
