Kings Fall Short Despite Better Effort

The Dauphin Kings played arguably one of their best games of the MJHL Playoffs Tuesday, but a late third period goal against ended up giving them a 4-3 loss to Winnipeg in game two of the league final.

The outcome puts the Blues up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series. If all the bounces had gone in Tuesday we might have been looking at a 6-6 game, however Dauphin was not able to capitalize on as many chances as the Blues, and that’s what ended up doing them in.
