It's the biggest game of the season so far as the Grandview Comets hit the ice tonight as they welcome the Swan Valley Axemen to the GACC.

Coming into tonight, the Comets sit in a tie for second place in the NCHL, with one of the teams they're chasing being the Axemen.

The Comets (8-2-1) have hooked up with Swan Valley (9-2) once this season and the Axemen beat the Comets in Swan River, 8-2.

A win tonight would leapfrog the Comets over Miniota-Elkhorn and Swan Valley and put them in first, but a loss could see the Comets drop at least three points behind first after the weekend, with just four games left in the regular season after tonight.

Puck drop for the Comets and Axemen at the GACC is set for 8:30 p.m.
