The Dauphin Kings and Steinbach Pistons faced off for the second time in a week, but the Kings couldn’t replicate what they did last weekend, as Steinbach beat the home team, 4-1.
The Pistons peppered Brennan Kitchen in the first, with 27 shots, but they only scored one, as they led, 1-0, after 20.
The Pistons increased their lead to 2-0 in the second, but near the end of the second, Thomas Hansell, who didn’t play this past Wednesday, brought the Kings back within one, after 40.
The Pistons ended up adding two more, in the final frame, to secure two points.
The Kings are back on home ice on Tuesday, when they welcome Selkirk to town.
