Dauphin, Canada

The Dauphin Kings 50th Anniversary Season has reached its final game as the team gets set to battle with the Virden Oil Capitals tonight in Virden.

In five previous meetings between the two clubs, it's been all Oil Capitals as they've scored 40 goals, while the Kings have mustered 13.

The Kings (14-43-1-1) will look to rebound after a 10-4 loss last night against Swan Valley, while tonight's game is a huge one for the Oil Capitals.

With a win tonight, the Oil Capitals (39-17-2-1) would clinch the second spot in the league heading into the playoffs, while a loss and a Portage win would mean Virden would enter the playoffs as the three seed.

After scoring in three straight games, Kyle Oleksiuk's point streak was snapped last night.

Offensively the Oil Capitals have the second most goals in the league behind the Pistons.
