Following a loss yesterday to start the round robin Dauphin's Kyle Forsyth returns to play today at the Dominion Club Provincial Men's Curling Championship in Winnipeg. He's got two contests, first against Carberry's Rob Waterhouse then Neil Bugg of Boissevain. Listen to CKDM throughout today and tonight for results!

The second round of the WHL playoffs get going tonight for the Wheat Kings. Brandon is in Edmonton to kick off the Eastern Conference Semi Final against the Oil Kings. The Wheat Kings had just one victory against the Oil Kings during the regular season and have not won in Edmonton since December 31st, 2009. Game time this evening is 8:00pm.

The Dauphin Kings and Winnipeg Blues will face off in this years MJHL Final. The schedule for the best-of-seven series is expected to be released at some point today. Regardless of what day it starts, the series will begin in Winnipeg because the Addison Division has home ice advantage this season. The Blues are also automatically in to the Western Canada Cup because the Kings are the hosts of the event. Another must win tonight for the Winnipeg Jets as they face Phoenix, a team they're trying to catch to make the playoffs in the Western Conference. Five other Canadian teams in action, Toronto desperately needs a win at home against Calgary. The Leafs begin play two points out of the final wild-card berth in the Eastern Conference. Montreal tries for a sixth straight victory against Tampa Bay. Vancouver is home to the New York Rangers and Edmonton is on the road against San Jose.

The Dauphin Kings continue to wait to find out who their opponent will be for the MJHL Championship Series. The Addison Division Final is going to Game 5 tonight in Steinbach as the Pistons look to come back, they're down 3-1 to the Winnipeg Blues. Start time is 7:30pm. Regardless of who takes the series, the team will have home ice. This season the Addison Division has the advantage. Along with that the winner of the Addison series will automatically be in to the Western Canada Cup, that's thanks to the Dauphin Kings being hosts of this year's five team tournament.

R-A Dickey looks to start the Blue Jays season on a positive note when he takes the mound in Toronto's Major League Baseball season-opener this afternoon at Tampa Bay. Toronto began last season with so much hope after revamping its roster, but endured an injury-plagued campaign. The Jays wound up last in the division with just 74 wins.
