Since
arriving at CKDM in the summer of 2006, I’ve met many
new people, seen new sights, wrote loads of news
stories, and I’m still enjoying myself. Being from
Winnipeg originally, I grew up in a concrete jungle.
Although it has its charms, it doesn’t compare to the
natural beauty of the Parkland, specifically Riding
Mountain National Park. I’ve spent many weekends
camping and rode hundreds of kilometers on my bike
through, and around, Riding Mountain. I’m still a fan
of Heavy Metal, but Kris Jay and myself have been
writing songs (we’re both playing guitar) in more of a
rock vein. In my other spare time I’m enjoying serving
on the Winter Lights Committee. If you have a news tip,
don’t be afraid to call us at 638-9022, or fax at
638-8891. See you around the Parkland!
